About me saying that at 40+…
That being super lean and ripped as it’s called…
Isn’t a goal of mine…
Not to mention that at 40+ what is necessary to maintain that isn’t much fun…
No room for any thing other than chicken and broccoli or similar…
No visiting the treat cupboard anymore…
No thanks!
Looking on social media, so many are following suit…
Why be very lean and unhappy…
When you can be quite lean, healthy and enjoy some food and drink now and again.
So if your goal is to be quite lean and healthy…
That means you are probably not far off!
But you are still going to have to make adjustments…
Body Weight is not much of an issue…
But body fat is…
Especially if it’s around the mid section…
Not only effect your confidence…
Be noticable if you are not wearing baggy clothes…
But comes with nasty health risks…
Coronary heart disease, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, diabetes to name a few…
Like I said though a few adjustments…
If you already go to the gym a few times a week, then brilliant!
But that’s not quite enough if things are not changing…
The calorie balance is not in your favour…
But if you make a few adjustments with the calories going in…
Few clever swaps or smaller portions…
You steadily start heading towards healthier and happier.
