Busy Mums, is not looking and feeling how you want getting you down?

We all have this point we reach where something causes us enough discomfort that whatever else we have going on, we have to take action in some way, shape or form…
As the so called (self proclaimed) lose and shape up expert I have reached that point (and it doesn’t take much) for confidence to decrease and me to start feeling like a fraud…
Being in shape to me is a bit like having a cloak of confidence…
I can ignore numbers, there are ways of denying those, but how you feel and clothes not fitting (Velcro not staying together) that’s hard to ignore…
I haven’t asked or been brave enough yet, but if you want an honest opinion you could always ask a little one?
I shudder to think, probably be “We just thought you were wearing a fanny pack under your shirt to stop you losing stuff”…
I don’t know where they got it from, but they use the word “fanny pack” we used to have “bum bags” back in the 80s, what do you mean YOU didn’t? I bet it was a fluorescent pink one 🙂  …
So how comfortable are you at the moment with how you look and feel?
My guess is if you are reading the gumpth I put out then pretty similar to me or worse…
Worse because you may have adopted the belief that you are stuck or just not knowing where to start with all the info…
This being one of my few areas of expertise, I know what I need to do (I’m sure you probably do to)…
At some point all though I thought it was OK my blood sugar (energy) must have gone too high on numerous occasions (times that I consumed more energy than I needed)…
So my plan involves addressing that, to stabilise blood sugar and get my body to keep releasing a hormone to burn fat…
(Kinda like a reverse bank account, where my body keeps going into its energy savings)…
I have done it before and helped loads of people do the same…
Time to change a few habits, simple ( but far from easy).
