What is the best stomach exercise for a Busy Mum?

I joined my first gym when I was about 19 years old…
I remember coming back from a January mountain bike ride absolutely freezing cold…
I thought instead it would be more comfortable to sit on a bike in a gym and be distracted by MTV videos…
One of the gyms we went to increased our focus on being in visual shape and being a very shy 19 year old I would feel better being ripped and toned…
I thought as you do “what areas do I want to tone” of course it was to get rid of the pot belly…
Don’t we all? From working with them and asking them, top of the list for Mums is getting rid of the mummy tummy…
So, in my quest I knew I had to be consistent with exercise and one thing I did night after night, was loads of different stomach exercises; it became a before sleep time ritual…
Did I have a toned stomach? At some point yes I did, did it have anything to do with the before sleep exercises?…
Nah…
When I have been the most toned is when my body fat has been at it’s lowest, which is also the time I stayed consistent with my exercise, but really focused on…

My eating habits!
I just focussed a bit more on when, what and how much I was eating per meal…
We all have a toned stomach or thighs or hips or backside, it depends how much fat is obscuring that toned muscle (stored energy)…
So exercising a body part, doesn’t turn it in to muscle, when the fat is less, you can see more shape…
Yes there are exercises classes called legs, bums and tums, it means you are working those areas, to see results you have to combine it with a sound eating plan.
It can sound a bit that we are focussing on our appearance too much, but when we lower body fat, our health improves…
