The most important thing you need to know to lose weight and keep it off. (Especially for over 40’s).

I talk about this and remind those I coach this as often as I can
Didn’t really hear it mentioned at the gyms I have worked at
Not mentioned anywhere in the media
My mum is the only one who knows it at her weight loss group
Which is a shame
If a goal of yours is weight loss
It’s one of the most important things to know
Then you will know
Wether the advice you are getting is based on science
Why it might take longer than you think
How to tell if a statement is true or not
Wether what you are doing will work or not
To know how to take the right action
And that fact and I wish everyone knows this
So feel free to tell them
Is that in 1lb of fat
There are 3,500 calories
And the body still sees body fat as important
So it can’t be rushed
You can still only lose about 1-2 lbs a week
(500 less calories than you need per day)
More than that and it won’t be just fat you lose
So let the action you take be guided by that
Or the plan you choose
And it will happen
